Wow, could they have chosen a less dynamic photo of Kubica's Canada wreck? That thing was MASSIVE! It was like a bunker buster bomb went off in the damn car! Here it looks like he brushed the wall...

Yup.

 

What was their point?

 

They missed one big one that a near fatality. It was the 2007 Australian Grand Prix and Coulthard tried passing Wurz on the inside only to end up on top of Wurz's car and nearly decapitating him.

 

They also missed another huge crash - didn't JV have a big one exiting Eau Rouge a few years back?
Not terribly impressed by that group of photos.

That was '99 and the article is dealing with the past decade, 2000-2009.

 

I feel like they could have found better photos to use...

they missed the melbourne 2000 crash, with JV and RS. Parts where stretched all over the place and a marshall got killed.

also in 2000, monza opening lap, cars involved where de la rosa, barichello and both jordans. Another marshall killed

2001 melbourne, the famous 'airbourne' caption after RS used RB as a launch pad.

 

Than I wonder why Schumacher's 1999 crash at Silverstone is in there.
