Today marks a full decade that I have been on FerrariChat. It's great to be part of this community. I have made friends from around the world, whom I would have never had the pleasure of knowing otherwise. Have had fun learning and sharing how to work on my Ferrari, and friends Ferraris. All the nice discussions, debates, and even the occasional dust up. It's all been great, and I just wanna thank all of you for being such a great group of guys to be associated with. Thanks for the memories, and let the good times keep on rolling.
Thank you Ernie, for all the wonderful content you've contributed over the last ten years. Lots of changes over the years, by far and away mostly good. For me anyway, this is the best forum on the web and it's the great users that make it that way. Ten years....good grief it's blown by...
i am coming up on a decade as well. my first post was an s.o.s. request when i broke the main shaft on my 512 bbi. i have been active ever since. have made many friends and even lost some due to their passing. it has been a remarkable web site and i will continue to be active. as a note, my membership was reset for a reason i never understood so my first post was actually in 2001. pcb
Congratulations Ernie!! I think my 10 years is next Nov. It's been great having you on the site and actually meeting you a few times. Best Wishes, Dom
Who dat? Just kidding. But you need to work on your post count. Dale PS What is your picture thingy? My eyes are not as good as they once were.
Geez, 10 years and your still nowhere near Pap's post count!!?? I'm a ways behind you on both counts though so I'll skulk away now!!
I was a lurker for a couple months before I actually joined. Wanted to wait until my pos 348 was in the garage. Hey your from the old school, remember Magoo? Wonder if anyone has heared from him lately?
I used to keep in touch with him (around two years ago he contacted me wanting info on how to change the CV boots on his 308) but lost contact about a year ago. I had his phone number when he used to live in Maryland, but never got his new number when he moved to Florida. When I sent him an email last year to let him know of my new email address, I never got a reply... I sure hope he's okay...
Oh, now I get it. I was looking at the black part and thought it was a cliff or something. He's still around, but not on Ferrari Chat. I talked to him at the track about a year or so ago, he and wife had adopted, and he is doing some race coaching. Dale
