Even though my 328 is currently off the road, while having repairs done to its driver's seat and steering column, I still managed to attend two events on Sunday.

The first was a Ferrari Club gathering at FoA to watch the Hungarian GP. As can be seen, a nice group showed up, including two other 328s, so my car's absence was not noticeable. Light refreshments and finger foods were served, and we all enjoyed watching the race replay on the big screen, even if Ferrari did not figure large in the results.

Although there was a nice selection of Ferraris in the showroom, none was particularly unique, except for a Colnago Ferrari bicycle!

Want to attend events like this? Join the Ferrari Club of America; if you own a Ferrari, you'll find that the parts and service discounts will likely pay for your annual membership. The publications have gotten better, and the monthly newsletter is now strictly digital, all-color and has enhanced content over the old print editions. And the event schedule in Georgia has gotten better, too, than it was in the past.

After this, we headed to Ray's on the Creek nearby for a charity car show, but I'll post those photos in a day or two.

For such a spectacular weather day this past Sunday... a drive in the mountains was the #1 choice.

A drive in the mountains is ALWAYS the #1 choice in my opinion, although car shows and other social events are fun.
the roads in north Georgia and SW North Carolina are some of the best in the country. When you factor in the low volume of traffic I would say they are the most enjoyable.

    Thanks for the pictures Jim!

We all had a great time - thanks to the FOA guys - Hugh and Stephen were great, I know Will wanted to be there but work called him to California...... that is what i call work.....

anywho - the car show was for Ronald McDoanld House - its a great charity and selected by FCA national as our lead charity. So happy we had strong support!

    Thanks again ya'll!

But my favorite car there was British, a Triumph 2000 roadster, with rumble seat (or "mother-in-law" seat, if you will) that I had seen somewhere before. (Sorry I got the Triumph logo blurry, but it's sometimes hard to use a compact camera on a bright, sunny day.)

Maybe this weekend. Car still looks fabulous but brake dust is starting to build up a bit.

Try some ArmorAll Wheel Protectant. (I have about 400m on mine and they are almost still spotless....and mine normally get dusty just looking at them).... Follow the instructions, do NOT move the car for 1day if possible once applied. So spray while parked. DO NOT TOUCH the wheels afterwards. I'm not much into "snake oil" but this stuff is amazing. The wheels need to be super clean also.
