Word. Brad does a great job with his vids. He is not a pro, he does it because he loves it, and he wants to share. He made that vid with almost NO footage, resulting from the weather. Despite the rain, we have TWO Stradales, TWO (or three) 360s, an F355, a 550, a Maser coupe, and a ton of other rides (my apologies to those I might have forgotten).

The point was not to win an emmy or an oscar, but to SHARE his passion, and Jim's collection. The fisheye, the effects, the music, that is his style, and it is good. If you don't like it, stfu and keep your negative comments to yourself.

EC. That's all.

I thank you for the video. I am no USC film grad or big time producer like the rest of the people posting on this thread. Thus my opinion might not have much credence, but from a commoner point of view, such as myself, I think the video was well done. I liked the music, and I thank you for taking the time to making it more entertaining than just background noise would be.

Though I am not a "vagina" that claims to a be a part of the EC (hi Woodear), I have respect for you guys. I have said it on the Tri State part of the board, so most of you guys know that already. Every body is different, and that is what makes the F chat a fun place to be. At least, that is how I view it.

Don't let some of the haters get under your skin. In the big scheme of life, none of that is really worth it. I have noticed a general sense of negativity on F chat for the last 6-7 months. Someone buys a Maserati coupe, and people say "oh you should have gotten a grandsport." Some one gets a gallardo, and people say "360 looks better should have gotten that." Some gets a new 360, and people say "wow you are dumb, you should get a gallardo or a 430." Many of us on F chat are friends in real life, and we hang out, and thus little jokes here and there are ok. BUt the overall negativity of some people, to act like they are god of the universe, is just a lack of class. Its frustrating to post anything on F chat without people commenting, "oh yeah, but my house is bigger." Oh yeah, but my camera can take better pics. Obviously the other side of the argument is, don't post on a public forum, if you can't take the heat.

Thus what I do is, I post what I want, see pics that I want to, make comment when I want to, and just go from there. No reason to let others get under the skin.

Have fun out there Brad, be safe, and keep the pics/videos coming for us Non Hollywood, commoner types. Looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the EC crew on my June-July trip.

Looked like a nice tribute to Jim and his cars. I don't have a problem Brad, but why the hostility toward this board, generally? I'm not talking about somebody that takes a shot at your camera work or editing- go ahead and hit 'em back, but they are not representative of all of us. The fact that you got Jim speaking jive makes my day, too. Take it lightly, we are all worm food in the long run....BTW, is Jim at Villa D'Este?

 

i honestly don't understand why the harsh critics. i thought it was done very classy. criticism is good but being arrogant is something else.

No Gene I wasn't joking. It looked very real. I particularly don't care for the enzo, and didn't think Mr. G had poor enough taste to actually own one
