    IIRC the owner has the option of having their FXX stored at Ferrari OR the owner can take his FXX home and drive the car anywhere he pleases.

    This is true. Also, where the costs start piling up when you take into account transport and logistical costs (although as a proportion of the total cost they are relatively much smaller).

    For example, for the 599XX program you are entitled to two 'free' events. The rest you have to pay for. Not sure for the FXX.

    Ferrari would not let the Top Gear Stig drive the FXX, they would only let Michael Shumacher drive it around the track.

    Yes they do. I know of two that are sitting in the owners garage. They do not stay in italy as so many say
