He's VERY proud of his cars. You'll definitely want to see it in person (or at least send someone who can). I went and checked out a 911 turbo that he listed in pristine condition, and it had more problems than you can shake a stick at.

So I'm curious....were you aware of his reputation prior to your purchase?.....when I was looking for Porsches during the mid-latter 2000s, you pretty much couldn't visit a Porsche forum without seeing some recap of a bad purchase on a front page of threads.

 

I'm local in Houston, had a 997.2 S and now have a 997.2 GT3, so am familiar with the brand and the model. If you find another one locally, I'll be happy to walk it for you. Got a paint meter as well so can meter the car as well. Nothing better than helping someone else spend their money [emoji12]

 

Interesting. I have known Robert for a number of years. Never done business with him, but once you get him to relax, he is a Porsche guy. That said, there is another guy on Houston who comes highly recommended for Porsches, but I can't recall his name.
