    Can't decide between a Ferrari and a yacht? There is no reason to have to choose between the two when you can simply combine them. Artist Livio De Marchi sculpted a boat that is a replica of a full-sized Ferrari F50 out of wood. De Marchi lives in Venice, Italy, and uses his one-of-a-kind wheels to cruise around town. Sadly, there aren't too many other places in the world where a car of this sort would be all that useful. If there were, we would be on a waiting list for one.

    I may be wrong, but I have a feeling this has been mentioned somewhere before. Wooden F50? It sounds slightly familiar. I'm sure some kind person will remember.

    You guys need to give Marie a break. How is she to know how much we have discussed Mr. De Marchi and how he is such a character. Marie, Mr. De Marchi made his money as a movie director with one of his most famous movies being Rendezvous. In addition to the wooden F50, he also constructed 1:3 scaled model of a Ferrari 312PB with a working drive train. His current real Ferrari is the famed Hello Kitty TR. He bought it after he crashed his 360 at the drag strip. If you want any more information on Ferrari lore, you have come to the right place. Don’t let these jokers get you down.

    You forgot to mention how the 360 was run over by a Ford F-150 while it was parked in Mr. De Marchi's garage... :)

    Bet Marie just saw this on AOL's homepage and thought the FChat community would like to see it too. With a post count of 10 (at the moment), chances are she just found out about FChat just recently as well. Welcome anyway!

    Marie...no offense to you personally. Its just a cycle repeating itself every couple of months, often involving individual or thematic elements of Lloyd's post. If you stick around FChat long enough, you will see it happen again to some other unlucky Newbie soul. Actually, posters to this thread have gone kinda easy on you. There's lots to read on the 599 in here so don't shy away.

    This time the FChat community has AOL to blame!

    Marie has been coming out to our Sunday events at the VCR for quite some time now. She also accompanies us on many runs. Marie is very enthusiastic and an asset to the fchat community. :)

    Poor girl, the Italian mark has lured her into becoming part of our dysfunctional family. Soon she will find herself wandering into the mine fields of timing belts and PPI’s. All in all it will be a fun journey, as long as she doesn’t take people like that Lloyd fellow above too seriously. Welcome aboard.
