These are a small selection of my growing collection. Mainly LM cars and and F1 cars. Hope you like them.

Thanks for showing. Like Hans, my collection is aimed at classic cars and no F1. There is so much to learn (and buy!) on the subject of Ferrari in 1/43

1/43 scale seems more popular than ever, space limitations perhaps? nice collections!

Space is a reason, but there are many more!

I stopped collecting 1/43 when the prices shot up 2 or 3 years ago.
    I'd rather spend £75 - £200 on a quality 1/18 than over £50 on a basic 1/43.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great collection. Here's a few more of my collection. Pics are not great but you get the picture.
First cabinet is mainly F1 with some special road cars and random GT cars.
    Second cabinet is all LM.

    its all about personal preferences.
If you spend 200gbp on a 1:43 handbuilt you can get a very nice modell that is far more collectable than a mass produced 1:18.

I like the well-detailed 1:18's (like f.i. cmc) but I would never buy them, production is to high, and every collector has one.. I prefer older handbuilts that are not that "common".

For me, collecting is looking for rare models, going to a store or buying 1 of 1000's online, is no challenge, nor an achievement.

The longer you collect the more selective you are.

Aside is the fact that in 1:43 the choice and production over the years is endless.

I am glad I have 1:43's.. imagine displaying 250 1:18;s in your house. To have nice display is great, to change your house into a display is to much for me.

In the "very rare models" thread are a lot of my posts
