    Today was a good day to make some noise...

    ...specifically of the .357 variety.

    I just went to test out the new coating on my old boat anchor!

    Whats the new coating? Looks like blue but w/ a matte finish maybe???
    I have a collection myself but haven't been on a "shoot out" in awile. The guys I used to work w/ & I went out regularly & blasted w/ a full selection of firearms.

    Beaded matte bluing.

    And it's a Trooper, not a Python. Hence the boat anchor comment! It shoots well, though, enough to dot the "i" on a Pepsi can at 50 yards. :p

    It's a crude, simple device, hence the boat anchor term.

    ...but it's a tack driver and makes a LOT of noise, so I love it :D.

    I've had 2 Pythons, bought on the reputation. Not impressed. I could shot neither as well as the S&W model 19 I bought on my 18th birthday (brother helped). Still have it.

    I've owned the same Anaconda twice (long story) and that thing is a deer slaying machine.

    JUST GOT BACK FROM SOME TRAP SHOOTING.

    I'VE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT MY 12 NEEDS A BUTT PAD.

    ALSO A GOOD IDEA ARE EAR MUFFS...BUT NOW I CAN'T HEAR PEOPLE WHINE AT ME SO IT'S ALL EVEN IN MY BOOK.

    DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SHOULDER TRANSPLANTS?
