Hey gang, we all hear the horror stories of this dealer or that...and the stories may or may not be credible...so how about a good story for once? Seems these don't often get the air play they should around here....and this one is deserving, so here's mine:

As you all saw, I just picked up a 355 spider today from Ferrari Maserati of Seattle. Roberto Perrina assisted me all the way through this transaction, answering questions, getting me information, and tending to all the little details necessary to make this happen. Let's face it, I'm hardly some "dot com" guy like some of you...this is a pretty major deal for me; heck I just wrote the biggest check of my life...and hopefully will not equal or top that sucker for a LONG time. So back to the story...I had a few concerns with the 355, we have all heard about the exhaust manifolds (this car had them replaced a couple years ago), and also the "valve guide problem" (which happens to some cars,....and not others). Throughout our negotiations, Roberto never hesitated to answer my questions, and do whatever I requested to help me feel more comfortable with the purchase of this car. He had a very complete service history for me to examine, along with a very detailed inspection report performed by their service department, prior to them accepting the car for consignment. The final step was to offer to perform a leakdown test on the engine to ensure there are no current concerns. Everything checked out...and here I am, a new, 355 spider owner. So, I was fairly treated, and we all walked away happy with the transaction. Good show FoS!

    Regards,
    Dave
