Anyone take a vitamin/mineral product? If so, what brand?

I've taken Mens One-A-Day and a Vitamin Shoppe branded performance multi.

I like both, however, I feel the performance one was best taken only on days you worked.

I probably get enough vitamins trough food, but bought the one-a-days again yesterday after an absense from multi's for a while.

I've also heard good things about Orange Triad and Animal Pak, but taking all those vitamins a day seems a bit much to me.

Thanks for the reply. It does look like One a day is the popular choice, I see those commercials daily. I'm not familiar with Orange Triad or Animal Pak, but I'll check on those. Do you consider this a multivitamin: http://www.focusfast.com/formula.php - I came across this at the store, but I wasn't sure...

It doesn't sound like a multi-vitamin to me. More like something to help with concentration.

I would be interested to try it though. Sounds interesting.

I take 3 Progressive Multi-Vitamin (image attached below), 6 flaxseed oil, and 3 fish oil... not sure what any of them do though.

Yeah, that's the impression I got as well. I'll take this along with a multivitamin - still deciding on which one though.

the big problem i have with one a day is that most of it is gone in a few hrs. So if your body does not use it or need it you piss it out. So with in 4 hrs or so your one a day is one.

It is better to take water souble vit/min several times a day. This way your body always has a some in a system. I take mine 3 times per day. 2 tabs per time. it might be to much for some by why take something that only works for a few hrs then gone for the most part.

It is like eating once per day. drinking water once per day.

you also need to take enzymes to break down your food with every meal.

CoQ10 is very important for the heart also.

    I don't disagree at all.

The only reason I've done the one a day is just in case i don't get a few vitamins in my diet. But I am pretty sure I do get most of the vit/mins through food.

I found a good combo of: Kelp, B-6, Lecithin and ACV in one pill.

    I also take Omega 3-6-9 and C.
