A good weekly car show you may not be aware of

This is a free show and I have no affiliation to it. I just thought some may be interested in getting their mid-week car fix in! Every Thursday night from 6-8 PM in Geneva, they have a car show. Last night was the first one and they had 120 cars. There's cars from all ranges, exotics to hot rods and beyond. It's held on 3rd Street at the old Kane County Courthouse. Plus 3rd Street is home to tons of great restaurants. Even better is that it's my hometown! Hope to see some of you at one of these (they run in July and August).

That's pretty sweet badges. How does this show work? Do you have to sign up or just show up?

 

Geneva may be a location where Ferrari's are well received. Downers Grove on Friday's is not to bad either. Lombard on the other hand seems to draw more of the die hard hot rod crowd. I've felt VERY unwelcome there!

 

You just show up and park it. Apparently St. Charles also has one on Thursday, so when 8:00 hit, everyone flew next door to theirs. There was a Ferrari at the Geneva show. There's literally something for everyone. They had what looked like a barn find VW bus there and last year a guy show up in a Delorean with a working flux capacitor!

 

I'm working a 12 hour day today. Wheaton's car show is going on and it's twice as big as geneva's! Tons of cars..... ZR1s to Porsches to t-rexes. It's going til 9!
