    Not related exactly to 355/348s but I have to recommend a wonderful book on the factory with truly amazing photos of car construction in Maranello...shows some 348's being made...by hand...

    You are correct, it is an interesting read. I bought this book over twenty years ago when it first came out. Recently reread it and enjoyed the 348 content, especially where they identify about six 348 engines waiting to be installed as F40 units. :) Most of it is accurate but that little fopa made me laugh.
