with enough money and time almost any project is do able. How deep is yor wallet??
My grandfather restores cars (mostly Shelbys). To me it's an ideal project for the guy that has the time and talent to do it all himself. So many things can be updated with modern equipment and electronics. Restoring it back to original would be pretty costly but when you start with a straight frame and good body panels, you could make it into something special.... I wonder if, once it's disassembled, you could modify the chassis and body such that the transmission could be removed and clutch replaced without having to remove the entire engine? Just a thought cheers

Since this thread has been zombed, I agree with the person who said it looks like it was whacked hard -- the front panels and gaps are all curvy and skewed.
Thats nothing! When i worked in Brunei i once saw them move an old Countach that had been outside for years with a forklift! Forklift i hear you cry, thats ok Not when they just drove the forks right through the doors to pick it up and then throw it into a skip which then would have been skuttled off shore. They did this to loads of cars which just got in the way.
I'm almost positive I know of the former owner that had this car. Darrell Creswell aka "Miles Revell, self proclaimed rock star & music producer." He was a rich kid , son a preacher from Graham, TX that inherited oil money back in the mid 80's. He often drove the CT all over west Ft Worth showing it off at every bar, nightclub, shopping mall, etc. He was well known for throwing wild parties at his hotel room when he was in town. I remember even back in high school the car was already in poor condition, from what I understand he wrecked the car the day he bought it. Darrell also owned a RHD black 308 GTS that was in worse condition than the CT & a 1986 vette convertible that was stolen from a hotel parking lot. The last time I saw his Countach it was parked at the 7-11 off Old Camp Bowie in early to mid 1990's.
Those are really sad pics. The Lambo in the beginning is nauseating as well as the Ferrari... I wonder what the gentlemen in the factory feel when they see this?
With all of the contacts on this board, I am surprised nobody knows what happened to the white Countach at the beginning of this thread.
This car was sold last year and is now overseas. I was offered the car but I didn't have the cash at the time and I felt it wasnt worth the price for the condition and that it was a Series 3 car. Big concern for me was the motor and trans were gone, chad had a motor for it from a burned car but I don't think he had a transmission. The entire front end was gone and what was going to come with the car was a new front clip from lamborghini. This car was in bad shape. heres some teaser pics Ill post pics I have of it asap via photobucket and anyone can check em out and download them. I just don't want to post them all up here. johnny Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
