    WOW!! Thanks for the update. I hope someone saves that car and gives it a better life. I am curious, what price were they offering it at? I cannot imagine that being worth much at all.

    probably cheaper buying a top condition one

    Um I doubt it the Iraqis were striping everything they could get their hands on for scrap. if we would have done it we would have taken the whole car.

    of course I was in the US Marines and maybe it was US soldiers but I doubt it we at least would have run it over with a tank.

    No point in trying to restore it to OEM specs without the drivetrain.
