What's a job that I (16 year old) could do this summer? It's a job that I could only keep for the summer as I play 4 sports in all 4 seasons and I'll be taking 7 classes next year (4 APs... ugh!). If ya can't tell, I'm a) a nerd and b) a car enthusiast (a car nerd ;)). If looked at jobs at CompUSA as I've built a few of my own computers and I like working on computers, that's why I'm on Fchat all the time! :) I've also looked at jobs I could do at anything car-related, but I'm having trouble.

I really want a job that has to do with technology/electronics or cars. I, theoretically could do something at a car dealership, but there’s not much of a chance at that. I mean, if Sport Auto has something they’d let me do, I’ll take that! I might PM ‘The Other Steve’ and see if they have anything I could do for them…

Problem is there are plenty of car dealerships here in Charlotte, but I don’t know of any that would hire me. The only ones I have connections to are FCI and FCIC, Hendrick Porsche, and Exclusive Motors… not exactly easy places at which to get a job for any adult, let alone a high school student!

It’s a day off for school for me and the morning, which means I don’t have my full literacy skills that I occasionally possess, but I hope y’all got what I meant… I just want some recommendations for any places that anyone knows might have a spot open that I could do for 3 months this summer. Thanks for any help! :)

Well, I did forget to mention that... my dad's got a house in Lake Wylie if there was a place in SC, and a house in Greensboro where he grew up. I'd say it's 30 mins from his house there to Winston-Salem, which isn't very intimidating :). I definitely wouldn't mind working for Daniel anyways, he's a cool dude (I wear my Ricambi hat frequently, man ;))

You have to be 18 to work at a dealership, at least in every job that I can think of. If you can work for Daniel, I assume that would be a pretty cool job.

Read but not replied to yet! I'm about to head out in just a few minutes but I did call my dad and we're gonna have a chat about it either tonight or tomorrow morning, and then I can call/PM/email you. Thanks :)
