Clearly it's Luca's team. He is a winner IMVHO (maybe even Prime Minister of Italy). He is a manager and a people person. I am looking forward to the 2008 F1 season to see how this all plays out. ;)

    FORZA FERRARI

May the horse be with you.

interesting take on the situation. this part seems not too surprising however: "To win a championship, Montezemolo knows, it’s crucial to run a “compliant” second driver – and so it will be. Massa is ultra-quick and Schumacher-taught, but to out-point a Raikkonen he will need to beat him away from the track, too. Massa potentially had that power in the Todt era, but with Domenicali it will be different. With Domenicali, Kimi will be a Felipe-beater. "

this is also what some of us have been saying, perhaps not in those words, but the idea is the same... Massa will not have the 'extra help', the 'political oompf' to aide him any longer, which is going to make it awfully tough for him. he had his best chance to win a WDC last season, under those particular circumstances. while Ferrari never 'officially' designates a #2 driver at the beginning of the season, the #2 will unofficially emerge sooner rather than later...

Peter Windsor's a tool. He gets on my last nerve at the beginning of every race and maybe he did the same to Todt. That could be why Todt treated him the way he did.

Anyway it's an interesting article. Notice how he's hedging his bet on Massa after his "Massa Appeal" article basically blew up in his face.

A Frenchman running Italy's team isn't exactly a match made in heaven.

Lets hope they make it work, because it looks like they're gonna have tougher competition this year.

Todt did a splendid job. So he is not "charming" as Luca or Domenicali, who cares if the team won everything there was to win.

Before last season I always looked forward to PW's articles but his defense of McLaren last year killed my admiration. Not sure what the purpose of this article is, have to guess JT was all business because he had the best driver and had to give him the right equipment. Wasn't JT's job on the line in the late 90s? Didn't the Italian press drive him crazy?

I can´t blame Todt for ignoring Peter Windsor.

    Agreed.

However Windsor is correct in his assessment of Todt's style and the new culture at the Scuderia.
