Well sort of, I recently went to the Ft Worth Museum of Science & History for the Star Wars exhibit. One of my favorite things had to be seeing the Landspeeder used in the first film. It was a bit of surprise to find out that it was built on a three wheeled British car & had a manual transmission. Lucas' production crew also attached mirrors to the bottom side angled at 45 degrees give it the impression that it was floating. I thought some of you guys here would get a kick out of this.

    Enjoy,

    Will

Btw, here are the rest of my photos including various costumes, props, & miniatures used in the past six films of the trilogy.

Did it say what kind of 3-wheeled British car it was made from? A Reliant, maybe? A Bond?

Neat...I always wondered how it was done. That exhibit might be worth a drive to Fot Wuth.
