Same thing happened at Crystal Cove a few years ago. Beautiful location, great crowd, helped local shops. Now empty Saturday morning.

Regarding the article you posted about the classic car club being kicked out of El Camino Shopping Center in Woodland Hills: the publicist for the Regency management company is named Bonnie Hayflick and can be emailed at [email protected]. I already sent her the following:

    Dear Bonnie:

Your decision, or rather... Regency's decision, not to participate in the
Valley Newsgroup's story about the classic car club being ousted from
the El Camino Shopping Center in Woodland Hills, is just plain
    stupidity.

From one publicist to another, the first thing a company receiving
bad press does is open the lines of communication with the public.
    It's basic PR 101.

Now Regency looks like an uncaring, faceless company with no regard
for its tenants or the public. Shame on Regency for allowing this to
    happen, especially in this economy.

Your company is too busy touting its new headquarters rather than
arranging for a compromise situation in Woodland Hills.

Please pass along my congratulations to the top brass there for doing
absolutely everything wrong in this situation. Grow a set as their PR
counsel and recommend a more proactive remedy that satisfies all
parties involved and for god's sake, issue a statement!

    Nice work Regency.

    Sincerely,

    Jarrod Holland
