Fantastic initative, Alberto! I already know which will be my favourite pages (but of course I can't tell here, in order not to anticipate the content to your future readers). It will certainly be a great book, and like "thorn" I would suggest to have the layout checked by a professional (or at least a semi-professional) grafic designer before having it printed. The current layout of the inner pages does not really justice to the content. But for now, all the best for your eye surgery!

    Ciao,
    Roberto

All the writing & photography effort deserves a professional designer. I'm sure there are plenty of them in Italy with huge talent. And then listen to the design advice & proposals. Defer to the professional!

Thanks,Robert: I just showed what I'm talking of and gave an idea of what there will be on it. I agree that a pro or a semi pro publisher and/or a page composer is a must before publishing the book. I'm a technician ad maybe I know something about cars, but I don't know anything about publishing (and I think you all already realized that...)

    Ciao

Thanks to our Fchat friend Karen, alias 'Kerrari', here you are the English cover.
The book now is completed, in Italian: I'm just waiting to take some better pictures of a 288GTO here in Modena.

And I would like to add a Dario Benuzzi interview (if I can reach him) too, as he was the road tester of 1982 Ferrari 208 turbo: this one is questionable, but there already are many important exclusive interviews so it won't be a problem if I cannot reach him.

Karen will refine all the book translation: I think she will deserve a monument! :)

    ciao

Looks great and I will certainly be wanting a copy but might I suggest some minor adjustments to the text below the cover picture: It ought to say "...street cars of the '80s." (and probably "road cars" is more usual in English than "street cars"). Personally I would write "The heirs of Gilles Villeneuve's victorious 1.5 liter (or litre for me, not being American!) 126CK F1 car..." rather than "...F1 car 126CK...".

    Wow! Book is looking good!

The entire world spells it "litre" except the USA, which is virtually the only country in the world that does not use the litre as their standard unit of measurement.

Without joking: As each time I read my book in Italian I find some stupid mistakes (a wrong letter, a wrong plural and so on) I think the same will happen with the English translation as well: The refining is a long process: Hope the final result will be good. The book editor will do the final check

Don't worry Albert. Some misspelling and odd translations fits in with the theme of the WSM!

The book is now completed, in Italian: but I just learned that there will be a Dario Benuzzi exclusive interview too! I will put it at the end of the book, as summary with the driving impression of all the four cars.

I'm very happy because I never met him in person: I don't know if this book will be ever appreciated, but at least it gave me the opportunity to talk with several Ferrari related famous guys!

    ciao
