.......AFTER READING THIS QUOTE FROM HIM AND IF IT IS TRUE....... "A relationship with a father is too important to miss. I didn't even start having a relationship with my father til i moved away to NJ. Now it is totally different. I am back, and I live with him and help take care of him and though there are bumps, it is perfect. I wouldn't give it up for anything. He was abusive both physically and emotionally when I was younger, but that is the past, and while I still harbor some animosity toward him for that, it was a small price to pay for the relationship I have with him now. The only thing that upsets me is the fact that I don't know how long I get to have him around." I HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT FOR HIM, EVEN THOUGH ALOT OF HIS TROLLING HABITS AND BUSINESS VENTURES AND INFO, MADE ME SCRATCH MY HEAD, IF HE REALLY MEANS THAT ABOUT HIS DAD, THUMBS UP FOR HIM.... BRUCE
aawwww, tolerance is always a good lesson, good tidings in this holiday season. so is this the end of CAPITAL PUNISHMENT for gentry? fchat group hug. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Holy ****................. A nice word from BRUCE to Gentry.... This must be a start of a good '05. LOL.... keep it up. Glad to hear your relationship with your Dad has progressed, Gentry.
Very commendable for you both, oh and just noticed you got the TDF 550, CONGRATS! It looks fantastic!
Holy Guacamole! I'm feeling the earth, wind, moon moving under my feet. But this is one of the things that I like about you Bruce. You can dish it out, but you can also take it. Dale ps Gentry, I think that Erik will still have you on probation until you buy a car!
But I already have a car! I guess probation ends in February (if I can keep from changing my mind again).
I was unaware it took the ownership of a Ferrari to become legitimate. If that was all it took, I'd solve the problem today. I can sell my BMW, buy a used Cadillac and a 328 and have a bit of cash left over for a Ferrari hat!
I ALSO CAUGHT THAT ON OTHER GENTRY PREVIOUS THREADS IS THE BIMMER LEASED, OWNED, OR LOANED?? STARTING TO SCRATCH MY HEAD NOW
It is a lease. But I am fortunate in the fact that it has depreciated much slower than I expected (and apparently than BMW expected). When my lease term is up (just over 3 months now) I will just sell it to the dealership or Car Max and actually make money on the deal (probably around 9k, which is half of the cost of my lease). Can't complain too much.
I've never leased a car, so I'm fuzzy on the details. How would that work... you buy it by making the balloon payment stated in your contract, and then sell it to the dealership or carmax for market value?
The value of the vehicle is higher than the residual of the vehicle. Therefore, I can sell the car, give BMW Fin.Serv. their remaining 18k and I take the balance, which in this case, is about 9k (conservatively).
