Car: 1986 328 I have known for some time that the drain from the roof line through the A pillar has been blocked. I have the wheel well out and just ran new heater and brake booster hose. I can see that the drain line is very old and has been crimped just behind the wheel well, probably from the factory... Want to replace the hose. Assume it's simple once I remove the interior trim. Rumor has it the metal part of the drain is small diameter, but I see the hose at the other end is not.. Any tips and what I will need when I get keeping inside... Hose size? Assume for this purpose, typical vinyl hose from home depot is ok. Using Cavis on the rear left drain near fuel tank etc.... Some say tygon plastic clear tube will last forever / won't get hard...?
