Came across this on YouTube, and I think it sums it up very well. Sorry if it is a re-post. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iItzJc-NHI4
Reminds me of the 1966 movie, Grand Prix. Very cool stuff, and even showed James Garner driving a black and gold Hertz GT350H. But was I the only one rooting for the Ferraris to win?
This is why reposts are important. Because there are obviously people who still haven't seen this, and it's the best commercial ever made.
I think that one's exempt from repost complaints. The highest fidelity interface between driver and road.
I only buy Shell fuel. Not because of this commercial but because of what they have done with the team over the years. It's just a little way for me to give back for their support, even in the bad years.
How about this one? Not as good as the Shell commercial but features a Challenge Stradale and a 360 coupe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI57X03AtyA&feature=related
Oh hell, this has to have been reposted at least 20 times... but every time it is, I watch it... and enjoy it. Never gets old, thanks.
That's all? You must be missing at least half of the nuances of the "movie". I suggest watching it more often. (Full Screen if possible)
The quality is bad, the audio horrible...but this is hands down my favorite commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9doD25_ENZ8 Just wish they wouldn't have cut off him laughing in the end
It seems to be Repost Smackdown exempt. But if this guy asks about timing belts or blinker fluid we reserve the right to pee in his Ferrari.
My pessimistic take: the car is lost on the woman... while the dude takes his for a drive, all she wants is to go shopping. Yeah, I just don't get that commercial. The original post, however, I could watch on a loop for days... the sounds of those engines give me goose bumps!
