A possible answer for those that have to ask, "Why a Ferrari ?"

Great old commercial. Never gets old....

 

Reminds me of the 1966 movie, Grand Prix. Very cool stuff, and even showed James Garner driving a black and gold Hertz GT350H. But was I the only one rooting for the Ferraris to win?

 

I always thought the answer was:
"If you have to ask you won't understand the answer"

My answer came to me the first day I walked into a ferrari dealership.....WHY NOT.

This is why reposts are important. Because there are obviously people who still haven't seen this, and it's the best commercial ever made.

 

Few reposts have this elite status, though.

 

I've seen that commercial about 3 or 4 times now... and I still love it.

I only buy Shell fuel. Not because of this commercial but because of what they have done with the team over the years. It's just a little way for me to give back for their support, even in the bad years.

I've got an audio clip from one of the downshifts as my ringtone. It never gets old.

My pessimistic take: the car is lost on the woman... while the dude takes his for a drive, all she wants is to go shopping.

Yeah, I just don't get that commercial. The original post, however, I could watch on a loop for days... the sounds of those engines give me goose bumps!
