Willing to go to Japan? Shipping to west coast U.S.A. $1400 England/Germany $2200. Maybe it's a really nice car. Although modified somewhat, I've found most cars from Japan very well maintained. Maserati Other 2DOOR | eBay
Is it correct that an early car like this has the squared turn signals? Was it yet in production in 1956? Must say that for such asking price the seller could have put a little more effort in posting some more detailed photos.
The car couldn't be in production in 1956, since the prototype has been presented at the 1957 Geneva car show. This one is not an early car, it is a late '62 or '63 car. So it is a series II model showing a correct external shape. It is a fuel injection car (GTI) converted to carbs. The picture of the engine bay shows several modifications that must be fixed. Ciao Andrea
1965 would have been closer to the truth Andrea ;-) Many people see the 12 spark plugs and assume the engine to be a V12. I hate it that it that the VIN is in the pictures but cannot be read and also the Touring No. Grr. Maybe it is 101-2334 ?? Marcel
This auction has all the attributes of a scam ... - very few photos - even less of a description - no VIN - no mileage - gross mistakes (like the wrong year and believing it is a V12 engine) and somehow scammers seem to be very generous in including free shipping "PRICE INCLUDE SHIPPING FEE WORLD WIDE" If this is not a scam then the seller needs to seriously examine his car selling abilities. The ebay ad seems to have been corrected, somewhat. I don't know if this is an original ad, but nonetheless it may be real given the uniformity of the other ads.
