    Hi all,

Is there a procedure ( without SD3 ) that resets the ECU and TCU learning on 612?

I know some other cars have procedures involving pressed accelerator pedal before start and etc. was curious if such a thing exists for 612 .

According to the workshop manual, cutting the battery supply resets the adaptive fuel trims on the engine ecu's:

As for the TCU, there's nothing there you would want to reset per-se. The TCU needs to go through a specific learning procedure to measure the position of all the gears and to set the PIS.

Is there a way to obtain a free copy of workshop manual ? I’m so passionate to learn about these cars and it’s a great reading material

Question (related to the 599): If this procedure is not followed, will there be error codes thrown? I just had my battery disconnected so that I could change the fuel pumps. I did not follow this procedure and I have a couple of fuel trim errors. Could this be related? It seems silly that every time the battery is disconnected for service the the car must be left idling for 10 minutes. Just sayin....
