Hello my new friends, I am new to the world of Ferrari. Recently I have been reading some wonderful posts on this board. I have a question about the "Titanium" color 360s. If you will please have a look at this link below and tell me why does this color look almost "chrome" like? Do the 360s in Titanium really look like this in full sun light? Or perhaps there is some element of photoshop added here? Also if you were to buy this car, what would be your opinion? Curious... http://bit.ly/dIW8su
Not so much the lighting as the white back ground. When there is nothing but white to reflect off of, the car its going to have a chrome look in any shiny color. Sure seems kinda of cheap for that low of miles...
The photos accompanying the ad are a bit misleading due to the lighting conditions (natural and artificial) in the showroom. My 430 is Grigio Titanio (Titanium Grey). It's a metallic medium grey along the lines of a "gunmetal grey". Here are a couple of shots taken last fall on a sunny day. The first is more accurate, while the second is somewhat under exposed or is affected by a polarizing filter used by the photographer. The 3rd and 4th photos where shot in the shade of building. You can find sample photos of most Ferrari colors at: http://www.ferrari-collection.net/color/index.html Cheers, Fred R. In real life , grigio titanio, does not look this shiny. Quite the contrary, it is a much more muted gunmetal grey color.
