A Question About Warranty Cards

Once the warranty card was torn out by the dealer/service shop during the service was it to be filed somewhere, mailed to FNA, or was it to just be tossed?

In my warranty book the first left over page was stamped by Wide World of Cars in 1987 (where the car was originally purchased in 1986), the second left over page is blank, the third stamped by Carriage House Motor Cars in 2002.

I am trying to track down some history of my car.

Any thoughts on this would be welcomed.
