A question for BlackJag

What's a series 1 1/2 E Type roadster worth in very nice, but not concour condition? (I'm assuming it's a 1 1/2, registration label says it's a 1968 car) Showing 70,000 miles, two owners, many receipts from Bryson's amonst the paperwork. Old English white with red. Has original Dunlop Acquajet tyres! Only problem, engine and transmission sitting out of the car with a suspected head gasket issue. Assuming you'd have to go right through it, would be worth $75K running? (I'm just guessing here)

 

Thanks, that much? So an open car is worth 30% over a FHC? And I assume a series 1 1/2 is considerably less desireable compared to a series 1 flat floor?

Car is owned by an elderly widow that knows my mum, she asked me around to have a look at it. Its seems complete, but I wouldn't really know. At least its been stored dry, the leather despite needing a feed looks great.

 

Because I wanted to waste bandwidth on non Ferrari content, like you do!

BTW, I am not keen on the Jaguar, it would be project number 567 that won't get completed. Just trying to help out and old friend of mums. It just came up in conversation after she was offered $5,000 for it and she was curious to know if that was fair.
