I have ordered some Dr ColorChip for my blue swaters 355. As the car's paint is overpainted with clear laquer to give it that wonderful shine how will the Dr ColorChip look without any laquer on top of it...or is there laquer built into the paint from Dr ColorChip for a seemless match?
It's an ok match but it is not perfect in that regard. Does a good job from a few feet away but if you scrutinize the car you can pick out the repair in 2 seconds. It's better than any other touch up I have used because it doesn't leave the bump like traditional touchups.
It is no where near the commercial or the youtube video. I bought it for my giallo and its "ok". Dont expect too much and you wont be dissapointed.
I don't remember if swaters has metallic in it or not but I used Dr Color Chip on a P car with heavy metallic and I could not get it to match. Solid color would be much better but still not perfect like already pointed out.
