Shortly I will be going down under to see the first Formula One race of the year. My brother-in-law lives in Melbourne. He tells me I can have dinner with some people from Williams-BMW. Last time, he rode in the third car of this in the 2003 race. Now he wants me to eat a meal with THEM. They want to go faster than my Ferrari. That is not good but bad.

My question to this forum: Should I break bread with the enemy of Ferrari?

Only drive 12 cylinders on the street.

Track me down at Suzuka or Shanghai and you can have dinner with Ferrari. I will not mention it to Luca or Leo that you even thought of breaking bread with Williams...

    Cheers,
    Erik

My goal is to be able to get pitlane garage access to either Ferrari or BMW-Williams for the '05 Melbourne GP.

Ferrari would be nice, but Williams has the Aussie driver, and I work for BMW... :)

Have a meal with the Williams team?! They actually serve food to guests! Or do they make you pay for the food you order?

Definitely yes! Heck, I'd be hanging out with the Minardi folks if I got an invite. It is F1 racing after all.

That will be Four Dollars and 59 Cents. Thank you! Please come again!

.... Ok ok... In all seriousness.... an invite from any F1 team is great. No one should miss out on it.

It is even better when you get invited by McLaren and wear a Scuderia Ferrari Polo. :)
