GIOTTO, thanks for posting the pics. The red car is #2148, the 2nd car on those photos I took with our mechanic. The white car is #2106. The red stripe is non-original and also the hood is non-correct. This car is now in US-hands. Unfortunately its nose section was totally wrong restored 2 years ago in Italy for its former UK-owner while the hood design was correctly restored. Today the car is dark-blue, also a non-correct color for this car! Ciao! Walter
Walter, thank you for the infos and the serial numbers... I think this is the ex-white and red car #2106...? Really beautifull cars! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yep, thats #2106. The car is very significant as are his sister cars #2105 and #2107 as only this trio has a big "racing" dashboard. Ciao! Walter
...and forgot to mention: it was #2148 that won the Italian GT-Championship in 1956. #2150, the car that was restored under my supervision, won that Championship in 1959. This is a photo of #2150 in the Coppa Consuma 1960 with "Noris" behind the wheel. Ciao! Walter Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of my favorites. Let's see how many SNs we can post pictures of. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is #2107, the Paris Showcar in 1955. Today with my friend Neal Kirkham - but unfortunately not correctly restored. The car was once in a beautiful light blue with bumpers. Ciao! Walter
It would be interesting to see this car in light blue. I have a few photos of it as it is now. I think it was at Pebble Beach but I don't recall how it placed in its class.
Here #2107 comes in light blue on a fuzzy color photo: Paris 1955. Ciao! Walter Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the photos Walter. I know 1.1 Million. I wanted to buy one a couple of years ago for $300,000 but the wife stopped me. Just need to sell part of my art collection and get one.
...never listen to girls when it comes up to cars!! Girls have their own...eh..."universe"! Ciao! Walter
Ohhh Yeees...!!! I found this one somewhere on the net, but can't remember where... On a racetrack in the States in the late 60's... Maybe you can identify that car, Walter...? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Giotto, good catch! This is #2102, the prototype of the Zagato-Coupés. An important car as Sterling Moss & Denis Jenkonson used it for 1 practice run for the 1956 Mille Miglia, where they where entered with a 350S and crashed! #2102 has a very nice racing history with various drivers in the Italian GT-Championship. Later the car was sold to the US and then to Japan via Europe where the original body was taken from the car (but still existing!) and replaced by a new one. From Japan the car came to Germany some years ago in a big collection. Unaware the history of his car the owner wanted to sell. I told him the story and he comissioned a total restoration that is now almost completed in Switzerland. Can you say WHEN and WERE this photo was taken? The air-outlets in both front fenders are not original and came on it later. Also the a bit strange looking radiator-cowl is missing here (redone now in the resto!). Here the car comes in its original livery in the 1956 Mille Miglia, driven by Arnaldo Bellini and Nicolo Carosio. They finished as 25th in their class. Ciao! Walter Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh forget all that technical junk. How about enlarging the original photo and seeing how much they were asking on that for sale sign???? ;>) Bob S.

Walter - thanks for the treat! You have just fully redeemed Maserati's poor design judgments of the 80s and 90s (Biturbo, Shamal, Ghibli II and Karif included).. Now for the most important quesiton - is the owner of #2150 single?! (kidding!! please don't tell my husband) Not this one!
Many thanks Walter, for all your Zagato photos and the serial numbers! Unfortunatelly, I didn't catch up the race about the photo in my post #37. But I think the site still exist... If I find it again, I'll send you a PM. Here are two more photos with a Zagato in Laguna Seca 1988. Maybe... #2179...? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
...well - no! He is a very, very rich man but very basic with a very warm charachter. His wife is not only attractive, she also is a very nice person and...she has a daily job as a teacher at school! So, no chance, darlingkkk!! Yep - women`s "universe" is not from this world................. Ciao! Walter
Giotto, no, thats #2160, today with my friend Bruce Male who also owns an A6GCS (#2071). This photo was taken when the car was owned by Ivan Zaremba from CA. Geee...from where did you get all this nice little pics...???? Ciao! Walter
Thank you Walter... #2160 and #2179 are not really different... I'ts amazing to see the subtle differences on those beautifull Zagato's. Here is another one (#2122...?) during the Tour de France in April 1992. Image Unavailable, Please Login
yep, that #2122. In those days owned by Mr. Neunreither from Switzerland, the land of milk and money....! Yes, there are many subtle differences from car to car. Not two of them are identical. Ciao! Walter
hmmm....that`s a hard one! I am not sure which s/n this car is! I have to check the registration plate in Italy. More later then. thanks for sharing this photo. Do ya´have mo`??? Ciao! Walter
