What a painful day. The 360 was sold. I have 2 kids so I sold it to get the new 911 TT cab; they enjoy going out in the car with me, two seats just didn't cut it anymore. I figure when they are a little older and want no part of me, I'll get another F-car. Just want your opinion to see if I got off a decent sale. 04 f1 360 coup with 3,600 miles, red ext, tan int., shields, chall grill, modular wheels, upgraded sound syst, car is in mint shape...less the dealer fee I got just under $150k..seems a little low to me, but not much I think. The market for these cars is a little illiquid and not transparent at all. Any thoughts...also, the major svcs was done...thanks

Be careful with the children. I let mine get too close to college age (13 and 16) and the wife is telling me no f-car until college is behind us. Heck, I am in a life and death fight with her to keep my 911.

I guess my options are: 1) improve my negotiation skills; 2) earn more money; and/or 3) get rid of the wife... or a combination. I think getting rid of the wife would end up costing me so I am working on options 1 and 2 ;- )

ha ha ha the cost of getting rid of the wife would by far surpass the fcar...tell the kids to get a job!!!

What is with everyone always listening to their wives.
Com on guys... where are your balls?
The man says how it is and thats final.
Forget the wives... Most married men don't even have sex with their wives anymore.
If she is such a hard ass, get rid of her, pay her what she wants and become young again.
My wife is lucky I let her show her ankles in public, let alone her telling me if I could buy a car or not!

    OLD SCHOOL GENTS, OLD SCHOOL!!

I would get a nice 996TT and something like a 308,328,348 or maybe a Testarossa on the side.

I sold my '02 360 1 1/2 years ago. The car was titanium/black with rear challenge grill, BBS wheels, stock stereo, electric daytona seats, pretty new tires, all services, c/f air boxes and engine compartment, 18,600 miles and got in the low $140's.

You got a very good number. My dad recently sold his 04 360 6 speed with the same equipment you list and around 2900 miles for $145k. The Ferrari dealer offered him $125k.

If I were a buyer, after $150k, I would start looking at the Stradale and/or an F430 for a few bucks more. An '04 Modena is nice, but how much nicer is it than an '02 or '03. You could have waited out for a higher offer, but you would risk the market getting even softer and end up wishing you had taken the $150k deal. Plus, I don't think depreciation curve is flattening anytime soon.

    My $.02

That is why I bailed out of my Euro Modena and bought a Stradale.

I couldn't afford the depreciation on the '00 Euro Modena but I can afford the depreciation on the Stradale ;)

And if Stradale prices start tanking .... bye bye Stradale :)
