I know we b!tch alot about today's state of Formula 1 and not without reason. Surfing youtube, I stumbled upon this clip and I tought it would be a nice reminder of why we love this sport in the first place, no matter if you like Hamilton or Massa or both or neither. To me it is the nursery of hero's, packed with excitement, success, failure and drama (the footage at 3:34 is just heart breaking to me). It has given us so much over the years and still is, with Brawn GP beating all the odd's. Behind all the politics, there still some beauty to be seen.

    Just sit back and enjoy:

This is a very good video. Lots of greats... Phil Hill, Jackie Stewart, Nikki Lauda, Hamilton getting teary-eyed and all. Schumi's jump at 5:57 became quite a collector's poster.

The cars from 1999 to about 2004 were my favorite--in terms of looks.

(How about Mika going around Zonta and Shuey--best pass ever.)

I'd like to point out (just to be clear) that I just found this. I did not make it myself.

Thank-you Marnix. Covered in goose bumps I called my 15 y/o over to watch ( he is so pacient with me ), pushing the pause and yelling "I was there then"
