    That's really a weird one. He has good feedback. But he wants $9000? Somebody might as well bid. It's not like they can MAKE you pay until you see the car in person. Who will pay $9001 for a clean Lusso?

    $9000 is approximately what Lusso's sold for new in 1964? Not sure what relevance it has to today's values. Very odd. I don't have my Miska Lusso book with me - anyone have any info on serial number 5399?

    I chatted with ebay about the listing... most likely a hijacked account. The seller was in france with lots of good feedback (all in french), then this listing shows up with the car listed in his garage in the US and with a new email address listed in the body of the message. And the listing was only for 1 day. But the pictures were nice!

    I show Lusso s/n 5399 as advertised for sale in February, 2004 in FML for $285,000. The seller was "Larry" and he was located in California with a 949 area code. The description said "excellent driver, very solid, same owner 25 years".

    Miska lists 5399 with no additional information in the serial number section, but I couldn't find a mention after a quick scan through the text of the book.

    5399 was auctioned at Monterey and was sold for about $250,000.
