    Was browsing the FChat classifieds just now and came across this thread. I noticed the mirror for sale has the same “A” sticker mine does. I always assumed the sticker was placed by a previous owner and I never gave it much thought, other than it didn’t seem removable. But now that I’ve seen another I wonder what the back story is. Anyone know why it’s there?

    Funny, I have it too. It's definitely removable but I never bothered. Probably a manufacturer's ID code for the bunch sent to Ferrari instead of Fiat :p

    I always assumed it to be a manufacturer code / system of parts labeling for assembly.

    All 308 seem to have one when new, I have also seen similar stickers located on side mirrors and other parts of very low mile cars.
