Cool pics. The 996 aint a bad looking car but those pics just drive home how gorgeous the 930 is ! it looks so much more epic than the 996
Hey, Pete. Fantastic pics. The 930 looks super aggressive from the rear. Those rear Fuchs look wider to me. Are those 11 x 17's? Lindsey's perhaps? I was thinking of possibly moving my rear 16's to the front and sending my fronts to be converted to 17's... Any thoughts? Regards, Rob : )
jeff alton/zuffenhaus 17x11 on the rear and 16x8 on the front. i wanted to have a bit of a 934/5 look with the staggered wheel size. if you have 9's on the rear, they will not work as they are offset incorrectly to fit on front. i had my stock 7" widened one inch on the inner barrel. the performance is great and the look is really great. i am very pleased. the zuffenhaus wheels are incredible!!! thank you all for the nice comments!!
2003 996 tt x-50 w/ tubi exhaust. 10.6k miles and very quick. 1987 930 turbo w/ 40k miles. fairly stock appearing but the engine and suspension was heavily breathed on by andial when i had the car out at my place in san diego. it is a screamer!
996TT gets no love. Too bad. It just looks similar to the normal 996 but it is a different car. In X-50 form, with exhaust and reprogram, its the affordable everyday Supercar.
hi tim, i think i recognize you from pelican? at any rate, the offsets are nicely done and i was able to lower, align and cornerweight the 930. i have no rubbing while accelerating, braking or cornering. the rear wheels fit perfectly uner the lip of the rear fender! best, pcb
