Just today when I went to the store & bought peanut butter for some rat traps I'm placing in my attic I discovered something truly wonderful. Got some Jif reduced fat. My God this stuff is good! I could eat the whole jar on a spoon!

A resturaunt in Minneapolis called Victoy 44. It is a small place and not in the greatest neighborhood but it is top shelf place that has a daily changing menu (on a chalk board). It's always new and always good but people are finding out about it so it is getting hard to get in.

A waffle stand in a small town in Argentina called El Bolson. They have the craziest waffle you could think of. An inche of chocolate with another inch of strawberries/blackberries, topped with sweet cream!

That's one taste of heaven that also speeds up the process of getting there :)

El Bolson in Catamarca (between San Juan and Salta) or Rio Negro (near Bariloche)? I'm going to Salta next month and maybe that waffle is a regional specialty?

Since the weather turned warm I've been into the subway spicy Italian sandwich on flatbread. Can't really explain why since I normally hate subway, but when it's hot, all those veggies and a big ass coke really hit the spot at lunchtime!

sounds weird, but in the heat & after my walk, nothing is nicer than a tall glass of cold filtered water & ice (nothing flavored seems to beat that) ...but otherwise, indulgence-wise always come back to a bowl of melty french vanilla (double churned) ice cream with crushed pineapple (chilled) over it :)

(dangit, i hope the corner store is open late! :D )

there's certainly hotter places to be, but 37C is plenty for me, 46C in arizona i've felt too (crazy heat) ...iran & yemen were not enjoyable, got +45C there too ...hottest i ever have been was on ship deck/platform on the GoMexico, still waters (literally no breezes) steel decks, clear sky sun overhead, temp readings were +50C ...crazy stuff!

Seconded on that note. I'm a sucker for peanut butter and could certainly eat a whole jar using nothing but a spoon.

Don't really want to burst your bubble, but there really is not much point to eating reduced fat peanut butter. If you are going to eat PB, just go with the regular Jif. You are eating the same number of calories either way.

The removed fat all comes from the less problematic unsaturated fat; it still has virtually all of the saturated fat. Reduced Fat PB also has to nearly double the carbs and sodium, add more sugar, and use corn syrup to get the product to be roughly equivalent.

SO, if you look at it the same way I do... it just means you don't have to feel guilty about eating the real thing! BTW... Jif is the only peanut butter that I will ever have in my home.

I saw that when I compared the labels but went w/ the “low fat” regardless. However, I can’t imagine it tasting much richer or creamy. It was very sweet & salty.
Ok, why Jif? What about Peter Pan & Skippy?

    It's so good!

I've been enjoying flavor ice pops. Its a plastic sleeve of flavored water that you freeze and then eat

Can't post pics right now. Here's google images

I use the regular peanut butter because the fats that they remove may actually pull out additional good nutrients with them.

Also because the reduced fat PB requires additives to maintain that same consistency, so it isn't just "peanuts" anymore.

As for Jif, I just prefer the smoothness of Jif over the other two, as well as (IMO anyways) a heartier flavor on the tongue.

Its probably mostly to do with thats what my mom fed me growing up, and just nothing else is the same.
