This 575 GTZ was spotted near the start of the Mille Miglia last weekend. It has a different interior from the one owned by Yushiyuki Hayashi. According to the person who spotted it, it's owned by Emilio Gnuti.
Does anyone here know more about it?
I thought only two would be built, both for Yushiyuki Hayashi?

    I WANT ONE!

Does anyone have any idea what these cars are valued at? What's the cost of commisioning one? Future value as a collectible?

No - There will be 5 in total, as tribute to the original 5 TdF Zagato's...

This one is indeed Emilio Gnutti's Car...

I have a deep appreciation for the GTZ and all that it implies, but for my money the front end is too much like a Shelby Cobra with the open circles everywhere.

In the beginning liked the Aston DBAR1 a little bit--it grows on you. So maybe if I see a GTZ in person, it would grow on me. However, now that the DB 9 is out, the DBAR1 seems a little bit dated and the front grille a little over done.

The DB AR1's are beautiful cars, a fitting tribute to the DB4 Zagato's of 1961, however, they were a pre-determined profit seeking marketing idea rather than an out and out race derived vehicle as their ancestors were...The DB7 Zagato coupe lie in the same camp but are ultimately more aethetically pleasing than the ill conceived roadster version.

The 575GTZ's are personal commissions from wealthy collector's for what reason, other than to create moving art? or to enable bragging rights over other's maybe? - I have no idea but they are indeed beautiful creations...

When I saw the pictures of the GTZ I thought it was much too bulbous and retro and not like a homage to the 250 Zagato at all. I even saw a picture of a 50/60s one-off (?) race Jaguar on which the GTZ's styling seems to be based.
Now that I've seen the GTZ in the flesh it is not as bad as the pictures suggested but still not my taste. From the back it looks more like some sort of batmobile.

The great thing about these cars is that someone has a passion for them. Most of the time, you can see this passion when you see it in person--the photos usually do not do the art justice. (I am not a Picasso fan, but when I saw "Guernica" iin person--over 10 feet tall and 20 feet wide--I was amazed.)

My first impression from pictures of the 599 was that it looked like a Toyota. When I saw it in person, it was a beast and it was truly one of the most beautiful cars I have seen.

I hope the GTZ has this impression on me when I finally see on in person--the pictures do not do it justice.

i like the return to the beautiful flow of classic Ferrari styling they imparted for the GTZ; a smart idea and tastefully executed. the rear is particularly nice.
