Is there a mastercard or visa that offers the same level of services as an amex centurion. Is there such a thing? Ie. travel benefits, accounting services, concierge, point system etc etc.

There is a Visa Chairman card, which is also black. They offer concierge service, free companion ticket when you buy a full fair ticket and most of the normal stuff. I still found that the Amex Centurion offers quite a bit more. The Chairman Visa is $400 per year and the Amex is quite a bit more, but I think worth the money, especially if you travel a lot. JMHO.

Edit: How come mine didn't come with that cool case?

Humm, dont know. I did not even know it was coming till it showed up.

Also it does not happen much, but when someone recognizes it the bells and whistles really go off.

At a trendy club once in Atlanta the door guy asked for id. The Black Card was on to and when he saw that my whole group got in and the manager came by to speak at least 50 times.

I just got them in a small book. Didn't look that cool either.

Anyway, there is a card that pretends to offer the same priviledge, but i can't remember the name...Stratus rewards no ?
I guess it's visa based. But not as cool as the black, no.

    I found one -Visa Infinite?

Unlike Amex, I think Visa and mastercards need to be linked to a bank? I don't know which banks offer the infinite though.

I don't think they've ever used a single special feature of it....

When AMEX gives me a black card free of charge, I'll take it.

Untill then, cool case notwithstanding, they can keep it.

At least for me the free stuff, like never having to buy a first class ticket for air more that paied for the fee. In fact, I likely make money that way.
