Wanted to see if any of you guys had this problem before. My 360 Spider sat for a few weeks. I drove it last night for a few miles. I drove her again this morning. It was pretty cold. I parked her after driving about 30 minutes. I left the doors unlocked. I go back to leave and open the door and push the remote fob and then the cars alarm goes off. But the kicker is the car starts. I turn the ignition off and try to reset by pushing and locking the doors. I open and restart the car but still the alarm is beeping.

I called FOA and they were at a lost. They said I might have to wait till the battery dies that is separate from the cars battery. I waited like 20 minutes and still going off. I said screw it and drove her to FOA.

    Left the car their.

Any body want to take a stab at the cause. Or has anyone here experienced the same problem before?

You can probably kill the alarm by turning off the master battery switch in the front compartment. I would start by resetting the ECU (by turning the power off as outlined above for about 5 minutes, then turning it back on). If the problem continues, it's probably because the battery in the alarm/siren module is leaking and may have started to destroy the printed circuit board.

Did not try the reset with the main battery but that sounds lime a good place to start. Unfortunetly the car is up at FOA. Im pretty sure they went into the front compartment to undo the battery for the alarm. I hope it is not a leaking if the acids like you mentioned. I know wire issues suck.

    Thanks for the input.

The siren did sound pretty puny. This was the first time I heard he alarm and if I was stealing this car, I would not even bother with the alarm.
