shown at SEMA ...i like some of these "what if" cars ...like the "ferrari-like dodge charger" of a few years ago ....cool stuff! :)

this mustang is a what-if ford & martini racing had teamed up?

taken from popular hot rodding link: "Here it is; the Martini Racing Mustang built by Pure Vision Design! The concept goes back the Mustang's original roots in European rally racing and asks 'what if Ford had joined forces with Martini for an all-out effort?' What till you see the engine! This is the Ford Indy 4-Cam engine in the Martini Mustang built by Pure Vision Design. The little 290ci beastie revs to 9,000rpm!"

here's another one ....i'm trying to find some finished photos of it ....a what-if mustang, mid-engined, built on a ford GT platform ....cool! :)

"Here's another one that's going to be at SEMA, called the Mach40. It's built by Eckert's Rod Shop and is their interpretation of what a mid-engine '69 Mustang would look like if it was combined with a GT40. I think the powertrain is all Ford GT."

fair to say, it's not the prettiest, but interesting as a what-if? it looks like a land-based shark to me :D

I like it! Needs some better looking wheels and remove the chrome looking thing on the rear fender. The lines of it look awesome though!

I like them both, but the second has to be the ultimate resto rod. It needs to be cleaned up a bit, but I think it's awesome. Definetly out of the box. Better then the GT drivetrain in a ford 500 I have seen.
