We just recently had the major engine-out service done on my single mirror Testarossa at RUF Auto Center, (an FChat sponsor) and Mike L. there did an absolutely great job - including restoring my front spoiler which had been badly grounded out more than once. Here is old 60447 with a couple of other mid-engine Ferraris that you may find interesting!

BTW, I have also just bought a Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn from RUF, and it came with an electrical fault in the environmental control system that came pretty close to being unfixable - the electrical module is no longer available and was priced at $4,000 when RR still had them in stock. Mike & Hans found a local specialist who was able to rewire it by hand to save the day...and took care of it as part of the purchase of the car at our original price!

I have nothing but the best to say for Hans, Bob, Mike, Jonathan & Carl (and all the other RUF people) - we have been RUF customers since the very start of the shop for the Porsches and Corvettes, and now I am very happy that they are getting into the Ferrari & Lamborghini business to make them a one stop event for all my cars.

    Thanks, all you RUF guys.

BTW, have a look in the Testarossa section for a photo-documentary of the engine out service...

    James,

RUF looks looks a first class operation, you're lucky to have them.

I see you had your first experience with Rolls-Royce's, agony and exstacy experience. Trying to get electrical problems fixed. But they do drive divinely, when things are right.

    Ciao...Paolo
