Nice.. might as well ask 10 million... either they live on the moon, or they don't want to sell.

I heard of a trend, were some list their cars at very high levels, then use that to revalue their loans against their cars. They know that they cannot sell at that price and simply waist peoples time. Im not saying this is the case here, but might as well. Lets say that 1/2 of the ask is a stretch these days.

The car is still in unfinished restoration. So the asking price of such nice car is totally GaGa!!

Also we have to note that this car got a new body! 1.2 Million is a realistic price for a very good restored and 100% original car!

This photo of #2137 I took in September last year.

    Ciao!

    Roger,
AutoSport is NOT offering the car! Its been owned and for sale by AutoSpeak.

Resto is done by another shop.

Many original parts are in the car, but the original chassis is NOT in it (this was told to me!) but comes with the car when finished (I have photos of the original, chassis!). The body is 100% new! I never saw the engine #2137.............!

Why would anyone build/restore a car have the original chassis but fail to use it? What am i missing here?

    Elad,
according to the restorer the original chassis has a major damage from a shunt the car had in the 60ies.

In my opinion the history of this car has some rather dubious aspects.......

    Dear all,
In the past year I have seen the engine of this car numbered #2137 various times in Modena. Last time was about 10 days ago; the engine is now put together and looks very correct and original to me with correct looking number stamps. Work is being done by a top quality shop.
    Regards,
    Michaël
