I'm watching E:60 on Aaron Rodgers and one of the questions they asked was how his relationship with Favre was. While here says they had a good relationship, the look on his face has me thinking it's something different. He really seemed to be biting his tongue. Not that I'd be surprised, but I'm really curious how difficult Favre made things. I think Rodgers is too much of a true gentleman to every put anyone else down.
From what I have seen, Favre's 'relationships' with ANY other QB on all the teams he has been on has been tenuous at best. I don't recall EVER seeing him discussing things with other QB's on the sidelines, unlike Brees, Brady, most other QB's in the league.
I agree with the statements about Favre. He never seemed to be a good teacher. I think that Rodgers benefitted from sitting behind him but most likely more from himself and the coaches. It's pretty funny because my brother-in-law has been a huge Packers fan for 50 years. He thinks Favre walkes on water and thinks the Packers screwed Favre when they traded him. I on the other hand think the Packers did the best thing possible and wouldn't have won the Super Bowl las year if they would have let grandpa hang out a minute longer.
I was reminded again of what a ****head Favre is, when asked what he thought of Rodgers' winning the Super Bowl, Favre replied 'to be honest with you, I am surprised he didn't win it sooner'. What an arse.
