    Outstanding! About time.

In 1960, my father drove from Seattle to Sebring, FL in a 1958 Abarth 750 Record Monza, where the car raced in the 4-hour endurance race for under 1100 cars (an undercard that year prior to the 12 hour endurance race.)

My father wasn't a racer, but he did break-in the hi-po parts on the track at night with the factory Ferraris flying by him while they were running practice laps for the main event.

He commented that on the track, and even cruising cross-country while towing its small trailer carrying parts and wheels/tires, the Abarth was truly amazing.
