    .....what are the proper diameters for the bushings?? I see in the Energy Suspension book that they list two bushings, 30 and 34mm diameters I believe. I've seen this topic beaten to death around here, and some say that ES doesn't know what they're talking about and that the bushings are the same front to rear while others say they're different. Can anyone here who has DONE the job with ES bushings comment?

    Also, for those of you who have done the job and upgraded to poly bushings, how did you like the results? I think it should tighten up my car suitably but I am also concerned about squeaks.

    All of the A-arm bushings on a 308GT4/B/S are 30mm diameter.

    P.S. Are the 34mm ones listed for different applications (i.e. TR, 512, etc..)?

    Nobody has ever figured out what the 34mm ones are for. The 30 mm fit the front and back. Ferrari had different part numbers for the front and back ones because they had different hardness rubber in them. Just use the energy suspension ones.

    Also, when I replaced my bushings (308 QV), the rear were made of what looked like copper cases and red rubber, and the fronts looked like steel with black/green rubber. Weird.

    This is what they looked like ofter cutting off the ends, and burning them out of the a-arms.

    I know, I know- these are REALLY exciting pix of old bushings.

    The only other data point I have is that 348 use a mix of the 30mm and 34mm sizes. I'm not even sure what size(s) my TR uses -- and I don't want to know! ;)
