    It's not uncommon for the bolt with the projecting pin to interfere with some aftermarket wheels. One or both can be removed if necessary.

    They are just there to keep the rotors lined up with your threaded lug bolt holes. If when installing your rim and the rotor turns on the hub it can be very frustrating getting it lined up again and a lug bolt started. If you use the wheel installation pins from a company like Sticky RX then it makes it easy and keeps everything aligned.

    Mine has rubber grommets on them, they don't seem to clear my challenge wheels. So I removed them before installing those wheels
