I have an early 1995, 355 Spider with the ABS light and brake light on since I purchased it. The dealer is standing behind it but his mac. can't seem to find the problem. He's tried to fix it 3 times and has had the car a month each time. I know, it's hard finding a problem, but it's pushed aside when a belt change comes in. I understand where money is made, but I'm at the end. I've had the car for 18 months and I'm done. I need some help. Has anyone had this problem? I've talked with another mac. and he seems to think he can fix it, but the dealer wants me to send it back to his guy again. It's all about the cost to the dealer, I'm sure. I'm ready to suck-it-up and pay it myself, but it was part of the deal. If anyone has had this problem, it may help when I take it back in. HELP!

Check your brake fluid level. Fill as required.
Check your brake pads for wear, and check that the brake pad wear sensors aren't out of your pads (making contact with some other metal part of your car).

Then with the car parked (don't drive while the fuse is in place), install a 10 amp fuse in the empty fuse socket under the right side (when looking forward) of your front trunk liner.

This will flash your ABS light on your dash to signal a trouble code.

Make sure that some "factory trained technician" did not put a fuse in the ABS diagnostic fuse holder. Under the trunk surrounding carpet, above the passengers feet, are 4 places for fuses under there, and one of them is supposed to be empty.

This is not in the regular fusebox in front of the drivers feet, this is another small group of fuses that pertain to the ABS. This is actually in the owners manual.

"E" should be empty, no fuse.
