Guess I have to tag this being a spoiler for those who didn't watch the race yesterday.

Anyone else notice the absence of Bridgestone on Ruben's hat during the post race interview?

In place of Bridgestone was Imorellato (very simply stated - no design or foo-foo, just the name). Italian creations by numerous designers - designs for the home, jewlery, watchbands. Some of their "creations" are absolutely beautiful, there are some necklaces that I must put on my wish list. The use of gold, natural, stones, enamels and leather are combined with steel.
iMorellato has locations in Italy, France, Spain and Germany.

I found this interesting as the Bridgestone tire ads have also taken out (several weeks back) reference to the formula one cars. Their ads are now just people doing some sort of dancing.

I'm trying to remember: Were the bridgestone ads missing from yesterday's Speed Channel coverage?
Or has my brain developed its own tivo function to edit them out? ;)

The original ads, though heavy on style over substance, at least had a kind of message, associating tire development with PDAs and other more familiar technology. All the new ads say is that BS's ad agency knows nothing except insulting cliches about the new young urban market they're trying to attract.
