    have dived for many years and been caught up in a similar situation where you need to decide whether to continue with the plan or abandon the whole episode, it's much easier at depths less than 100' but I can see why he would have been so stubborn to continue the retrieval.

    It didn't take long to die at that depth and they seemed very prepared and organised which you would expect of airline pilots with their rigid safety procedures routines they are use to.

    Seems like a lot of well intentioned people were affected by this , shame the story ends so tragically
